Every
floral design order from Company Flowers! is
unique. No orders are made up
beforehand. That means our professionally trained
designer will make the selection of the
container. That means the artist-designer
chooses which flowers will be used and which smaller "filler" blossoms
will work best with each individual choice.
The "palette" or wide variety of flowers will change according to the
season. That also means the professional will
select, to frame the blossoms, from among our wide variety of unuusal
greens imported from around the world (never that "heavy" dark green
baker-fern that lasts forever in other florists' coolers).
The pictures shown here will NOT be
duplicated -- they are only a general idea. The pictures are
provided to help you make
choices. Please realize the artistic choices of the
designer will be the special essence, the design "touch" that makes
floral designs from us so arrestingly different.
HINT: That's also why our regeular customers have learned to specify by
objective (it's for a new baby's arrival, etc.) rather than dictating
the specific design or flowers.

Signature 'French Wink' ($60+)
In
a clear glass or ceramic container (shown) of four- to five-inches, our
signature "French Wink" is designed to present maximum vivid floral
enjoyment without commanding a huge physical presence. Made up of
smaller blossoms with unusual buds and greens, each provides a
long-lasting (when watered!) essence of thoughtful colors, such as this
one: Centered around the pale purple 'faith' and orange-yellow
"sombrero' roses are purple-red godetia, a small burst of safflower,
tiny yellow blossoms of lysimachia, dark green mountain mint, green
trillium, a couple of zinneas, allium, coleus and a bit of white
hydrangea. |

Another 'French Wink' ($65)
In
a bold ceramic pot, this version of a 'French Wink' featured several
white and yellow roses surrounded by white hydrangea imported from
France during the late winter season, contrasted with purple Safari
Sunset leucadendrum, a short trimming from another cymbidium orchid
tip, and rosemary greens. |

Bubble Bowl Beauties ($50)
Developed
to show off the wonderful textures and varieties of greens available
during the hot summer months, this bubble bowl presentation (one of six
as centerpieces for tables of eight) highlights the pastel pinks
withthe near-white "dusty miller" and unusual sedem greens. Bold
blossoms of gerbera daisies always proclaim color, especially alongside
the depth of intrigue of roses like the Rosita vendella pink. The
smaller blossoms of motsamoto asters and the delicate blues of nigella
round out the color scheme, while the few dark coxcomb blossoms provide
unusual texture.

Classic Floral Design ($75+)
Developed
as a three-sided design (for use on an entry-way table in front of a
mirror) but able to serve as a tall centerpiece for drama, this
arrangement sets forth classic design principles. Generating a
sense of movement, with complementary colors aroused by the dramatic
depth of the arresting blue hydrangea blossom, this tall vase
arrangement makes use of summertime greens of the varigated hosta
leaves, the erect moluccella ("belles of ireland"), delicate leaves of
buddleia topped with their bright yellow buds, and all crowned with the
sole stem of asceplia grass. The colorful orange safflower, the white
lysianthis, and the zinneas round out the display. |
