Helping homemakers enjoy flowers is a major objective at our shop. The assumption is that large-scale gardening activities are best supplied by others – the home-based plants in pots, and silk designs, are our focus. If any of the below items can’t in our store, we can order and obtain them usually within 48hours.

 

Tools for Silks and Dried Arrangements

 

Silk Spray -- Environmentally safe, the spray dissolves dust and dirt without affecting the silk or dried design. 12-oz can, $12.


 

 


Joyce Chen Scissors
--These are the famous Joyce Chen guaranteed, stainless steel scissors. Numerous versions (Bonsai, tweezers, garden, etc.) also available. $25 and up. Store inventory includes other, less expensive scissors, too.

 




Wire Paddle
-- Fits the hand, won't roll away, and keeps neat its green-painted wire for many wreaths or designs. ½-lb, $5. Larger wire rolls of differing strengths available on order.

 





Rain Rocks
-- Designed for the bottom of pots for drainage, these frosted-glass irregular shapes are too good looking not to be on display on pot tops too -- or in a vase of cut flowers! $9 per1/2-lb bag, Quantity discounts available.


 

 

Frog Stem Holder -- When the holder will be seen (like in a shallow glass dish) green ceramic Mr. Frog does the job with aplomb. $20.


 

 

 

Pot Pads -- Protect those table tops from spilled water under your favorite flowering pots -- round or square, walnut or cork hue, 4" to 24", $2.50 and up.Some sizes out of stock.



 


Hairpin Stem Holders
-- From the small 1" size (shown, $9) to larger ovals, rectangular shapes, and circles, all provide the famous hair-pin method of holding stems for fresh or dried. The hairpin method, best for silks, grips the stems instead of cutting into the stem bottoms like the sharp pin-cushion holders (shown elsewhere).

 



Plant Misters
-- The copper mister atop a glass bowl (either clear, blue or pale green) works equally well outdoors, on floral designs, even ironing! $12.50.

 


 

 

Dry Foam Blocks -- Just like the popular, wet Oasis blocks for cut-flower designs, these dried Sahara Foam blocks become the foundation for silk or dried designs hot-glued inside bowl or basket. $5.50.




 


Eco Water Spouts
-- Make use of those old plastic carbonated-beverage bottles! Screw on the spout to create your own watering can. $9.


 


Wooden Picks
-- Just like hidden hair-pins, these picks keep just right those dried or silk flowers! 60 at 6", $3.75. Also 90 of 3" $3.25.

 

 

 

Tools for Outdoor and Potted Plants


 

Tool Set -- Cultivator, trowel and transplanter are ideal for potted plants. Can be gift wrapped, $8.

 

 


Florists' Knife -- Never mess with armed florists! They use this 2.5" stainless steel knife all day. Victorinox excellence, $21.50.


 

 


"Trake" -- This solid-cast aluminum 16" tool combines a narrow trowel and cultivator-rake, indispensable for light gardening. $22.50


 

 

 

Candle Holders for Foam -- To provide candles in that holiday centerpiece, these standard 1" candle holders nestle into floral foam. Packaged 2/$2. Other candle accessories available.


 



Pruning Shears
– These famous Felco #4 shears ($75) will cut just about anything. The Felco #7 ($98) has cushioned handles and wider blade adjustments, but #4 is most popular. Other rachet-type shears handle really big stems, and copycat alternatives are available.


 


 

Rose Thorn Strippers -- Its spring-action handle protects fingers, and its super-sharp blades avoid tearing stems, made especially to de-torn roses. $15.





Kneelers -- One-inch thick anti-skid and water-resistant pads, in two colors, prolong weeding for hours! $7.50 each.

 


 

 

Clear Marbles -- Fill a clear glass vase with these to hold long stemmed heauties best. Also attractive into which bulb flowers of Spring can develop. Ask about bags of colored marbles, too. 2-lb/$5.


 


River Rocks -- The black smooth irregularly-polished River Rocks (5-lb/$18.50) glisten in water fountain basins, highlight floral vases, or give visual contrast to potted plants. Come see other penny-sized smooth stones (bright orange & vivid green in stock) in small bags, $9.


 

Gardeners' Tool Set -- This boxed set of an aluminum trowel, a hand rake, and a cultivator says "go for it!" to any budding gardener (or someone whose old metal ones rusted out!). $25.

Vase Scrubber -- Fits into any narrow-necked vase, won't scratch or chip, and easy to use with T-shaped handle. $14.50.


Gardeners' Soap -- Fragrance-free block of French milled scrubbing soap does the job without harsh chemicals. Tied to a wooden soap holder for an ideal gift, $12.50.


Waterproof Foam Tape -- Fights the usual problem of tape slipping off the vase or container when wet, thereby allowing the foam and flowers to move.60' of dark green ¼"/$2.60. For most glass vases, a grid for flowers is made with a 60-yard roll of ¼" clear tape, $7. Standard florists' tape is $2 for 60' of ¼" sticky tape, dark or light green, brown or white.


Gardener's Apron
-- Five pockets (two vinyl-lined so tools won’t cut through) include one for a cell phone enhance this wrap-around (fits up to 48" waist) $35. Full bib apron also available.


Wreath Holders -- Most are designed to fit over the top of a door, wreath holders come in clear plastic, brass or black, some long and super long, $5 and up. There's one that comes with a huge suction cup, too!


Tough Gardener Tools -- Ergonomic (handles specially designed to minimize stress) Radius-brand tools -- trowel, weeder, cultivator and bulb trowel -- made of lightweight aluminum/magnesium alloy.Each $21.50, set of four $80.


Outdoor Glue Pens -- Incredible, works forever outdoors on any surface, won't stick to skin (!), non-toxic, non-flammable, water-based, applies white and dries clear. $9.


Foxglove, Finest -- Of all the many gardening gloves tried by Company Flowers, the Foxgloves are the very finest. Made of Supplex nylon (for durability) and Lycra spandex (for the 4-way stretch), they're machine-washable and quick drying. Three sizes, many colors and some with no-skid grips. Pair:$25.


Stick-Em -- The really adhesive "putty" that sticks things on the bottom forever -- like pincushion holders to wet dishes, or gazing balls outdoors! Comes in a 60" roll, only green, $6.


Dancing Garden Mirrors -- Two 1.5" round mirrors, attached with a clear filament, can be draped over a branch or anywhere to glisten and shimmer in the slightest breeze, fun! Four pairs in a box: $17.50.


Copper Snail Tape -- While not scientifically proven, old-timers know that snails and slugs won't cross a copper line. This 15' roll of adhesive-backed 1¼" copper tape works well around trees, pots, planters, raised beds, etc. $12.50.
